Job Description: AGW is currently seeking applicants for an Industrial Hygienist position. This opportunity is well suited for highly motivated, hard-working individuals who are looking to develop their career with a top environmental consulting and engineering firm.

Industrial Hygienists support a wide variety of Industrial Hygiene related projects. Duties include site visits to various locations in the Colorado front range area; communicating with clients; gathering and recording of field data; collection of samples (air, soil, water and/or building materials); analyzing and interpreting data; and preparing technical reports and proposals.

Specific field-related duties may include:
• Mold and moisture assessments, sampling, and clearance protocols,
• Asbestos sampling and abatement oversight,
• Indoor air quality investigations,
• Chemical, noise, and other regulatory compliance monitoring,
• Assessment and sampling of drug impacted properties.

Training is an essential component of this position and individuals with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Areas of training include topics relative to your responsibilities, as well as cross training of other areas to promote future growth and development within our organization.

Additionally, the ability to obtain and maintain current State of Colorado certifications in the various work disciplines such as asbestos, lead-based paint, radon, methamphetamine and 40-hour HAZWOPER is necessary for the position.

Education: Minimum 4-year BS/BA in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Public Health, Biology, Environmental Health and Safety, or other related fields. Specific coursework in Industrial Hygiene is preferred.

Required Skills: 1-4 years of fieldwork experience relating to Industrial Hygiene services. Experience in mold and asbestos a plus. Candidate must have and great attitude, work ethic, strong technical writing, organizational and verbal communication skills. Must have physical ability to conduct field work such as climbing ladders and lift/push/pull up to 50lbs. Must have safety awareness and understanding of safe work practices. Candidate must have a current driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, and must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.

Salary wage range: $68,000-$78,000 annually. Final offer will reflect experience, education, and relevant skills.
