Multi-disciplined Consulting Engineering Firm
In 1972, Allen G. Wassenaar opened a soil and foundation engineering office in Denver and focused on providing recommendations for foundation systems. The business operated out of Al’s home until he purchased a building on South Ivanhoe Street in Denver in 1978. In 2020, the company moved to a new building on South Zuni Street in Englewood. Over the past 50 years, AGW has grown to incorporate a multitude of geotechnical and environmental services, including state-of-the art laboratories for testing the engineering properties of concrete, soil, and asphalt. Since its inception, we have been a trusted partner to many land developers, commercial real estate owners, architects, municipalities, and general contractors/builders in Colorado’s construction industry.
