Quality Assurance Program

We have a comprehensive Quality Assurance Program which is subject to regular internal auditing and appropriate revision to meet the requirements for consistent results and reliable data. This program is applied to all of our personnel and equipment. AGW technicians receive ongoing training and records are maintained of their qualifications. Training seminars are conducted, both in-house and by our professional and industry associations, for technicians and trainees. All of our measuring equipment is calibrated and traceable back to the National Bureau of Standards. Another important part of our Quality Assurance Program is participation and membership in recognized professional organizations. The following is a partial list of such involvement.

  • American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO)
  • Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL)
  • Corp of Engineers

  • AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory Proficiency Program for Bituminous Mixtures, Aggregates, and Soils
  • Instructors for CRMCA (Concrete) and WAQTC (Field Testing)
  • Metropolitan Governmental Pavement Engineers Council (MGPEC) (Various committees on design and standards.)

  • Other Inter-laboratory Programs.

  • Colorado Association of Geotechnical Engineers
